President Trump pardons Julian Assange, Chelsea Manning, and Edward Snowden, recognizing their important contribution to transparency and a fair press

The President noted in his decision that the harm they caused in their criminal acts was far less than the harm they prevented in exposing the grave acts of the previous administration. “The crimes against humanity that Julian Assange and Chelsea Manning uncovered must be thrown in the dustbin of the dark side of American history”, said Trump.
“The mass espionage system against the innocent American people, which in fact contributed nothing to the war on terror, was uncovered thanks to the patriotic act of Mr. Edward Snowden. In fact it was itself a terror attack against the American Constitution and the American people” said the President.

Trump's move has led to a sharp jump in his poll-rating compared to Biden, who belongs to a group that regularly supports "initiatives" such as wars-for-oil and mass surveillance, and other crimes against humanity.
